The Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAF) launched several airstrikes inside the Deir Ezzor Governorate on Wednesday, targeting the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s (ISIS) positions near the eastern entrance of the provincial capital.
According to a report from the Syrian Arab Army’s 104th Airborne Brigade of the Republican Guard, the Syrian Air Force destroyed as many as a dozen pick-up trucks and armored vehicles that belonged to ISIS near the Political Roundabout (Dawar Al-Siyasiya) in the Al-Uthmaniyah District.
