“A total of 6 missiles were fired. 5 were shot down by air defense systems, 1 hit near the bridge. According to unconfirmed reports, the attack was carried out with HIMARS supplied by the US.” lol, kudos to the Glorious Russian Air Defense. And the bridge is still in good shape.

I saw 2 holes right on the bridge surface. Was that HIMARS projectile equipped with cluster ammo or multiple war head?

Disinfo

Defenses hitting 5 of 6 HIMARS missiles is a pretty good ratio. I’m curious which anti-missile system got them.

Most likely a Pantsir system.

S-300 most likely. So far no evidence of S-400 deployed in Kherson or in the Special Operation area.

According to this video, bridge has definitely being hit, at least once. Hole is clearly visible, however, it seems that rocket did not explode, there is only mechanical impact visible.

There is another damaged space, but steel mesh has not being destroyed. That could be explained with another rocket being intercepted and part of it landed on the bridge.

So, by looking at video, one clean hit through the bridge, luckily without explosion, and another semi-impact that did not penetrate through the structure.

The report of Russia successes in UA the same like in Syria. Many target hit, buy UA army are in good shape. The numbers UA killed reported by Russia military are fiction.

People saying S-400 or S-300 CANT intercept HIMARS don’t understand physics. HIMARS travels at mach 4. Their launchers are near the frontlines. Only S-400 launchers used by Russia are not even near Donbass or Kherson, but instead deployed in Crimea 180km away from Kherson or Rostov which is still over 100km away from depots in Donbass. By the time HIMAR rockets detected on S-400 radar, the 40N6 or 48N6DM missile will not intercept it in time due to the long range separating them. Therefore S-300 or S-400 is needed to be deployed inside Special operation area within 20-30km from strategic ammo depots and bases so the missiles can actually reach the HIMAR and intercept them before they hit targets. Or atleast position BUK-M2 M3 within 5km of ammo depots or Pantsir within 2km of depots. S-400 in Belgorod Crimea and Rostov cannot do shit to HIMARS because they are too far away, and HIMARS is fast. Simple physics. S-400 smashed a UKROP SU27 from almost 250km away and bayraktar from 120km away. HIMARS is not a challenge for it. Placement and positioning of S-400 is KEY. When it comes to countering ballistic missiles, 30km is usually the max range to target them otherwise you run out of time to intercept them due to their high speeds. The S-400 has an effective ABM range of only 30km for that reason and S-300 of 20km, which means anything ballistic/hypersonic outside of that range wont be intercepted in time.
