Russia is 50% advance in its rearmament plan: Dmitry Rogozin

On Friday, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told the Federation Council that the plan for rearming the Russian army and navy by 2020 is being implemented 50% ahead of time.

“We keep the situation under control from the standpoint of implementing the state program for armaments extending till 2020, we are ahead of time. Instead of rearming the Russian Armed Forces, including the Arctic Strategic Command by 30% we have achieved 47% implementation. In other words, we are 50% ahead of our own targets,” Rogozin said.

It is reported in a Russian agency that Rogozin thanked the Russian parliament for supporting the defense budget in this difficult economic period.

However, he also said that instances of corruption are becoming rare and he also repeated that it was utterly impermissible to ineffectively use budget funds.

Shhh

To prevent corruption do not centralize decision making. Each judge should not decide more than one million dollars. A approval of 500 million requires 500 judges to decide.
