Amid the ongoing Russian military operations in Ukraine, the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan is gaining momentum.
On March 9, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported about the shelling of the positions of the Azerbaijani army in Karabakh from the Armenian territory. The shelling reportedly began at noon on March 8 and lasted until morning on March 9. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the Khojaly and Geranboy districts were targeted.
The Azerbaijani soldiers opened the return fire. It was emphasized that “the Azerbaijani army did not target civilian infrastructure facilities, but only striked precisely at the positions of illegal Armenian armed formations.”
On its turn, the Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic reported that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire regime in the region.
“On the afternoon of March 9, around 2 p.m., two 60 mm mortar rounds were fired in the direction of the territory adjacent to the village of Khnushinak in the Martuni district, and starting from 3.50 p.m. to 5.40 a.m. on March 10, the enemy fired 23 mortar shells in the direction of the village of Khramort in the Askeran district. There are no casualties on the Armenian side.”- the report reads.
On March 10, the Armenian sources confirmed fire by from the Azerbaijani territory that hit the area of the Red Bazaar.
The fire reportedly targeted the Russian peacekeeping forces deployed in the area.
Russian peacekeeping forces that are deployed in Nagorno-Karabakh were aware of possible provocations, and have strengthened their positions. The escalation of another military conflict in the region is aimed to disrupt Russian military command from thr military military operations in Ukraine.
Poor Armenia. Last one out turn out the lights.
Armenia is very weak
I think Idlib Jihadister can win against them
Azerbaijan ain’t dumb to cause Russia. Soldiers death cause Russian might just invade them to.
This is the first time I’ve ever been here. I live under a rock! I’ve heard the name of this place mentioned on Zerohedge and Gamer Uprising the last two days, so I stopped by to check it out. Glad I did! So far, I like the articles and the vibe of the place at face value, so time will tell… Southfront seems underrated! You should prolly be getting a bit more traffic imo. Keep up the good work! Thanks for existing!
i told turkey to open a new front my little erDOGan barks on command
We all remember that war, both sides lied like pigs be it Armenia said more BS. But again let’s just wait and see.
Targeting Russian forces? Somehow I just get the feeling the little Pasha is behind this. I don’t see how he thinks this will do him any good in the long run.
The Turks are also run by International Freemasonry and they want to exterminate Christianity as the most serious resistance to their satanic cabal.
Perfectly expected and right about on time.
Of course one only needs to look at photographs of the nearby arms merchants: the one with the Supreme Court building , that celebrates FM in all its ritual symbolism, to know who is REALLY calling the “shots” ( play on words there wink) and misery on this planet.

CIA agents visited Baku on 8 March. Coincidences?
As they say in Balkans: Never trust a Turk.
Turkey might try to use cover of Ukraine events to launch something.
