On December 5, Russia reported that Idlib militants violated the ceasefire regime in Greater Idlib 10 times: 4 – in Idlib province, 3 – in Latakia province, 3 – in Aleppo province;
On December 5, an explosion was reported in the US base at Tanf area;
On December 4, three explosions were reported in the US base at CONOCO gas field;
On December 5, SAA artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in Majdaliyah village.
