On December 1, a convoy moving logistic supplies to US-led coalition bases in northeastern Syria came under attack, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
The state-run agency said that the convoy was targeted with an improvised explosive device (IED) as it was passing near the town of al-Malikiyah in the northeastern countryside of al-Hasakah.
“Two trucks carrying logistical supplies to support the bases of the American occupation burnt out as a result of an IED explosion near the illegal Semalka crossing in the al-Malikiyah area,” a local source told the SANA.
After the attack, the US main proxy in northeastern Syria, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), deployed reinforcements and shut down the whole area. Local sources didn’t report any casualties.
Over the last few days, dozens of trucks loaded with supplies and military equipment for the US-led coalition entered northeastern Syria.
If confirmed, this will be the second attack on a US-led coalition supply convoy in northeastern Syria this year. On April 20, a supply convoy was targeted with an IED as it was passing next to the town of al-Sabhah in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. Although ISIS and Iranian-backed forces in Syria were blamed by some observers, the attack remains unclaimed
There should be a lot more deniable attacks on the illegally present Amerikastani occupiers. Mortars on their bases, mines on the access roads, snipers on rooftops, drones dropping grenades, the works. All carried out by “mysterious”, “unknown”, forces.
(They’ll blame Russia anyway, so Russia might as well do it.)
A couple of well trained snipers can cause havoc and terror,if the morons were losing people everyday they would get the message
One shot take out the driver and disappear . Looks like the SDF are making it difficult to carry out proper attacks . Not sure how the locals in the area feel about the SDF / US .
At last . This better than covering the trucks in dust as they drive past and the drivers now take two extra pairs of underwear with them so they don’t need to stop down the road. The smell of burning trucks wafting over as I eat breakfast can never be matched by any amount of sugar. More of it and that should be minimum standard now. Minimum two burnt out trucks per convoy with improvements.
