In the past 24 hours, the Houthis (Ansar Allah) have carried out several attacks on forces of the Saudi-led Coalition both in Yemen and in southern Saudi Arabia.

The most recent attack was reported on August 31, when Saudi air defenses intercepted a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis towards Najran area near the Yemeni border.

A day earlier, Houthi drones targeted Abha International Airport located near the cities of Abha and Khamis Mushait, in Asir Province, in southern Saudi Arabia. The Saudi coalition claimed that three drones were intercepted.

According to local sources, 8 people were lightly injured. Material damage was also reported as a result of the attack: one civil aircraft was damaged, some facades were shattered, as well as some ground support equipment.

On August 30, Saudi air defense systems intercepted missiles that targeted the positions of the Saudi coalition in Jizan. The video showing the destruction of the missile was published:

Saudi-led forces were also targeted in Yemen.

Missile attack was carried out on Saudi coalition positions at Al-Anad military base in the southern Yemeni Lahij province. Three missiles were reportedly fired from Taiz International Airport towards Al-Anad base. According to the letest reports, 43 Al-Amaliqah fighters and Sudanese mercenaries were killed, more than 56 were injured. The military base suffered material damage.

Sahn al-Jinn camp in the north of Marib city was  also targeted with Houthi missiles. According to local sources, they successfully hit the targets.

Heavy clashes broke out west of Yemeni Marib.  Dozens were killed on the both sides. According to the Ministry of Defense, at least 100 Houthis have been killed in heavy fighting with Yemen government troops during the last 72 hours outside the central city of Marib.

The mounted several large attacks on army troops and allied tribesmen in Al-Mashjah, Al-Kasarah, Jabal Murad and Rahabah areas near Marib. 11 Houthis were captured during fighting in Rahabah, south of Marib.

The clashes and attacks continue amid the intense airstrikes of the Saudi-led coalition all over the country. In their turn, Saudi missile and artillery  targeted Yemeni Razih border district.
