On June 28, a huge fire broke out near the Elephant and Castle metro station in London. About 70 firefighters were mobilized on the spot.

According to the media reports, witnesses claimed to have heard an explosion. At the moment, the Metropolitan Police has denied a terrorist attack.

One man was reportedly injured as a result of the explosion. He was treated by London Ambulance Service crews.

A huge plume of smoke rises above the rooftops of the British capital, as evidenced by several photos and videos posted on social networks:
