On May 24th, rockets were fired at Ain Al Asad Air Base in western Iraq’s Anbar province. According to the military Spokesman for Operation Inherent Resolve, one rocket targeted the air base. According to several reports, at least 5 rockets were fired.

The accident did not result in material or human losses.

The attack took place two days after the Iraqi Resistance coordination room had issued a statement threatening the US forces of resuming attacks.

Previously, on May 23, 6 US logistical convoys were reportedly targeted with roadside bombs in various regions of Iraq.

The attacks were reported in Babylon, Aldewanea, Alsmewa, Alnasrea and Basrah regions.

Iraqi “resistance” forces are known to carry out such attack on US forces in order to push them out of the country.

The attacks on US supply convoys and facilities in Iraq are a response to the assassination of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Deputy-Commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units, and Commander of Iran’s Quds Force, Qassim Soleimani.

Dear South Front. Why are there no more comments through discuss on this site? It was a great service. People could follow, respond to comments when notified of a response, attach pictures, there was a record of posts or follow ups with others.
It was great. Can you get another service with the features of discuss?

Lots of people on here were censored in a very arbitrary and capricious way. there was zero rhyme or reason to what was censored and what wasn”t. For everything i was censored for, i could find a poster using the same or similar language or ideas. Maybe they got tired of complaints about that. I do agree that the format was more user-friendly, however.

Jens was the first to report me, and we both know he’s absolutely bananas. And it worked, my post was deleted. I also had some super innocuous posts censored with language i confirmed i had seen in many posts, and the only reason appeared to be that another poster was butt hurt about it. I’ve never reported anyone for insulting me, not matter what language they used. Only thing I reported was spam. I’d rather deal with insults galore from people who hate my opinion than have them be censored. Also, I’d rather they have a code of conduct at the top of the comment thread if they DO want to censor obscenities, so that we all abide by the same rules.

Yeah Jens is a gadfly whose batshit modus operandi pretty much got under the censorship bar; namely because he rarely made any sense. That said, there are a ton of very knowledgeable people from around the globe that post here. They post facts and critical analysis, and I like that. As you suggest above^, I have actually learned things in SouthFront commentaries. I hope that it can be preserved.

The prior comment platform, Disqus, became Jew owned in 2017 (Zeta Global). Censorship followed quickly thereafter.

Tyrannies and the Jews are founded upon lies. Neither can exist in an environment of truth and critical thinking*.

Be reminded that Orwell “1984” is a fictionalization of the Jews’ Protocols, and a warning to us of what is to come from the Jew virus rising in within our countries. The speech, behavior, and thought suppression Orwell wrote of flow from his experience with the Jews in Spain during the Jews’ Spanish Civil War, and from the Jews’ Protocols. Until suppressed by the Jews, the Jews’ Protocols were widely published in America, the UK, and Turkey in the 1920.

*So as to undermine “critical thinking,” the Jews named their society destroying plans “Critical Theory.”

In weeks before SF decoupled from Disqus – if a comment user took on a resident troll they were sometimes getting replies that were just URL hyperlinks from another unknown user. These were very dodgy hyperlinks – not something wise to click on – first part of URL might have read ‘google image’ or something similar – but if hovered over full link to see rest of it, was very weird destination that likely had bad intent – ie viruses. Couldn’t say if SF acted in relation to this – or other bigger issues, as notably the Russian Insider website has also decoupled from Disqus in same time frame. Either way there were increasing user related issues with Disqus for Russian based news and and strategic report websites.

Lots of dodgy things going on with Disqus and it will only get worse. They introduced the downvote which IMO was to facilitate the influx of trolls and give them a way of attacking good comments, which happen to be against their views and the views of those paying them, sending these comments to the bottom of the stack where they are less likely to be read.

Israel is an Apartheid State

The US should just withdraw from Iraq and Syria. Stop wasting your resources and money on small powerless states. Iraq and Syria are big distractions from China. China is laughhing as the USA wastes money and gets bogged down in the middle east.

US military is funded by the taxpayer but works for US capital interests. As long as US investors have an interest in Syria and iraq the US military will stay there …. taxpayers can just do what they’re told, shut the fuck up and pay the bills their owners tell them to.

The USA knows that it has to have a strategy, or it will lose it’s position as a worldwide hegemon. There are different factions in the US establishment, and they each have their own goals. But, they all know that if China rises even further, then the US loses its global position, and then they will be able to do absolutely nothing about their “capital interests”.

The USA won’t be able to do anything at all, when most countries sign deals with China and Russia and Iran. Eventually, China will have better weapons and aircraft and ships than America. Is America going to fight the Chinese military, which is much more powerful, more organized, and more advanced?

The more the USA “works for US capital interests”, the sooner the day will come when the USA will be completely powerless on the world stage. One day, America is going to be like a Colombia or a Brazil. It will be completely irrelevant on the world stage.
