Bizarre infighting among head-choppers trying to get to Marib. The UAE-backed STC are nominally Hadi allies, but really want Hadi wiped out so they can take over Marib. Hadi (plus allies Islah and al Qaeda) know this, so they’re suspicious of any STC/al Qaeda ‘help’.
Saudi Wahhabi al Qaeda is naturally supporting the Saudi Wahhabi puppet Hadi and is present now in Marib. There were a couple of instances (rumors) this weekend that allies of Hadi, Islah (Muslim Brotherhood/Qatar), intercepted some of the convoys of the UAE/STC-backed Wahhabi Giants Brigade coming to Marib from Mocha and Houdeidah, but some apparently made it through along with some aid. In another incident, the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council blocked an al Qaeda group traveling to Marib from their lair in Arak and arrested the leader. STC pretty much said Marib was Hadi’s problem, not theirs, so they’re apparently sitting back and letting Hadi and the Houthis grind each other down for now.
Stranger yet (but not unexpected), claims are being made that ‘American helicopters’ were dropping off some fake, UAE-backed ISIS 2.0 near Marib from Deir EzZor! Makes sense if you consider the large private army in the UAE built by the former Blackwater/Academy crew. I would bet anything the UAE is using them as fake ISIS to fight Assad’s troops in Syria and has re-tasked a few to make sure the UAE owns Marib after the dust settles. Worse yet, I guess, is that Biden is stupid enough to use U.S. troops masquerading as ISIS and working under CIA authority (vs. military authority). CENTCOM and the CIA has every reason to help the UAE and MbZ in Yemen now that the U.S. has thrown the Saudis under the bus. The U.S. is just as psychotic as Israel about ‘protecting the al Mandab Straits’ from Iran or its supposed allies, i.e., every Shi’ite muslim on earth.
The fake ISIS would have flown in through Abha airport, then helicopters from King Khaled Air Base. I wonder if that was what was attracting the attention of Houthi drones?
