Leading presidential candidate among the republicans, billionaire Donald Trump, once again said to his voters how he is glad that Vladimir Putin praised him and pointed out that if he enters the White House – there will rapprochement  between Washington and Moscow.

Trump spoke during his campaign in the state of Michigan. On that occasion he said that the praise by the Russian President on his account was “unexpected, but pleasant”: “He told something good about me. And some have suddenly began to argue how that is terrible. That is not terrible, that is very healthy.”

Trump particularly emphasized how the criticism of Putin in the US is unfounded.

“Wouldn’t it be great if we could establish a good relationship? In my opinion, it would be healthy if Russia was on our side, if other countries were on our side – so we can hit the Islamic State”, said Trump.

We remind you that Putin during his conference before New Year, publicly welcomed Trump’s willingness to establish deeper relations with Russia and stressed: “Trump says that he wants higher level of relations. How can we say no? Of course, we welcome this. It’s not up to Russia to estimate Trump’s qualities, but he is undoubtedly a talented man, he has a colorful personality and he is the absolute leader of US presidential race.”
