Syria's Army Clashing with Turkey-backed Terrorists in North Latakia

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies have begun military operations to take control of Kabani in the Kurdish Mountains. Earlier this week, the Syrian forces seized the hilltop village of Yaqoubar from Al-Nusra and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in this area.

According to the reports, now, the clashes are going at Jabal Zuwayqat. The mountaintop of Jabal Zuwayqat is located directly south of Kabani and just north of the government-controlled village of Yaqoubar in Jabal Al-Akrad.

With these militar operations, the pro-government forces are aiming to bypass the eastern perimeter of Al-Sirmaniyah to hold the position to strike this  town in the Idlib Governorate from the southern and eastern flanks.
