On June 15, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Su-27 multirole fighters had intercepted B-52H strategic bombers of the US Air Force over the Balitc Sea. The US bombers were int the area as a part of the NATO-led drills “Baltops -2020”.
Earlier, Ruussian fighters were forced to react, when B-1B strategic bombers of the US Air Force entered the area of their responsibility over the Black Sea.
