Russian and Turkish forces conducted a fifth limited joint patrol along the M4 highway, west of the government-controlled town of Saraqib in southern Idlib, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria reported on April 21.
According to the report, two BTR-82A armoured personnel carriers and a Tiger armoured vehicle were involved in the joint patrol from the Russian side. The movement of the Russian-Turkish convoy was controlled by unmanned aerial vehicles of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

All the joint Russian-Turkish patrols in southern Idlib took place in a limited area only. The area of the patrols serves a direct demonstration of the fact that the March 5 de-escalation agreement remains not implemented. The security along the M4 highway in southern Idlib has not been created and remains in the hands of radical militants. So, it is not safe for Russian forces to move along the highway there.
Erdogan greed destroys Turkey.
Turkey is near ruin—their economy nearly destroyed, structurally weak causing Erdogan to beg for loans from the USA—to pay Russia for the S-400’s presumably. Turkey now has more c19 cases than Iran or Italy, officially reported…however due to scant testing there r likely 500,000 cases…recently Uk experts have admitted less than half have been reported….it is doubtful that covid will cause turkey to reduce their imperialism in Syria, Libya, Cyprus, etc…little Saladin and his coterie have learned nothing from history
Just about every country in world’s about to suffer a huge financial recession due to the coronavirus, and Turkey’s not too badly placed to weather the financial storm, but Russia and Iran are far worse off due to the devastating reduction in world oil prices, oils worth less than it costs to drill for it now, and on top of that no one wants to buy it anyway, they don’t need it because of the coronavirus, so Iran and Russia will be devastated economically during this crisis.
Russia gets 60% of it’s total export revenue from oil and gas, Iran gets 99% of it’s total export revenue from oil and gas, which effectively means Russia’s just lost most [if not all] of its 60% foreign derived income and Iran’s losing 99% of it, so I’d be much more worried about them than Turkey.
Well you wrong about Iran, 99% of export is not oil or gas. If you have noticed Iran reduced it’s oil export dramatically in 2017, US pressure on others to not buy and domestic pressure to step away from oil, I would say 25% or less is exported so Iran is not as effected as you think.
I’m afraid you’re wrong about Iran, they sell some cars, plastic, dates and carpets, but apart from that they don’t have anything much else to sell.
Why didn’t you look it up before saying I’m incorrect, official records for 2018 show oil and gas made up more than 82% of Iran’s gross domestic product, meaning only 18% or less of their income was derived from anything but oil and gas sales, during the last 2 years their export revenue has been devastated by new US sanctions so that 18% has at least halved or more than halved, so perhaps my 1% claim is a little low, but it’s not very far off the truth, it may be as high as 5% this year, but that’s about to change too.
People might still need to buy dates from Iran but cars and plastic they won’t be, the coronavirus and US sanctions have ruined that lifesaving revenue base as well.
So even if they were still at 2018 export rates, which they aren’t, but even if they were how could they survive on just 18% of their normal income, and as I said it’s not 18% anymore, now this year it’ll be from 1 to 5% of their normal income they’ll have to try and survive on.
And Iran imports thousands of tons of [vitally needed] food every year, so all the revenue from export sales will just go straight into food imports now, so it’s going to be curtains for Iran, they can’t survive this no matter what they do, they’ll literally be broke in less than 12 months, and they’re already well on the path now.
https://tradingeconomics.com/iran/exports
US is broke, EU is broke , Iran with 40years of sanction standing tall. You deluded to think Iran will be broke in 12month. They just sent a military satellite for first time. Forget what others say or you read, I don’t see a broke nation. They are proud nation and a superpower
You’ll soon be saying they were once.
Also instead of checking how much oil we selling etc, check countries with most debt, you won’t see Iran anywhere near top but closer to bottom. So those on the top are actually broke but let them keep print money and write articles for people like you
LOL Bob, debt did you say, and who’s selling Iran anything much at all with all the US sanctions applied, you can’t incur any debt if no ones selling you anything, LOL.
But up until 2 years ago Iran could’ve been buying anything they wanted and still been building up their cash reserves, but for the last 2 years they haven’t been in that position, low oil prices and US sanctions have stopped the Iranians filling their piggy bank, now they’re actually taking it back out.
So do some checking Bob, Iran’s total cash reserve is 130 bill, and they can’t even access all of it due to US sanctions, so they really only have about 100 bill they can lay they’re hands on, and they’re annual gross expenditure is 85 bill, in 2018 total export revenue was 75 bill for the year but since US sanctions hit that number must’ve at least halved by now, and since they aren’t making any money at all now [no oil producing nations are], that piggy bank is getting smaller and smaller.
So do the maths, 100 bill in the bank and they spend 85 bill a year, they were making 75 bill a year back in 2018 but they aren’t anymore, after US sanctions they were making 35 to 40 bill a year, and now with the coronavirus and low oil prices they’re making 0 bill per year, so 100 bill minus 85 bill plus 0 bill equal 15 bill, next year it’s 15 bill minus 85 bill plus 0 bill equals minus 70 bill.
The IMF do just print more money, and they are handing out the cash like lollies now, but guess who the Jewish run IMF won’t be handing out loans to.
Most ME countries need to import a lot of their countries food requirements, Iran is no exception, they import at least 30% of their food and won’t be able to pay for it when they aren’t making any money. So as much as you might think debt to the Jewish IMF is going to be harmful to other countries, I promise you food security is a far more relevant problem for Iran, people will starve in Iran, people in countries like mine just won’t be able to buy a new TV’s or phones, but we’ll have enough food.
I admire the Persian people Bob, an ethnic group doesn’t last 2,500 years if you can’t get along with others, so they have some fine qualities [the Zoroastrian religion], I do however have some issues with the Iranian extremist Islamic fundamentalist sectarian government and their religious laws, and I definitely want them to stop antagonizing Israel so that Israel finally stops attacking Syria, but trust me Bob, the last thing I want to see is little Iranian kids dying from starvation, but sadly that’s what’s going to start happening when the cash reserve runs out.
Did they say “took place in a limited area only”, lol, yes that’s one way of putting it, or else just like me you could say what the hell, you mean they can only drive 2 km up the road from Saraqib to just outside the town of Nayrab, and then they have to turn around and go back again.
Why bother, it seems like a total waste of time to me, drive 2 km up the highway just to turn around and go home, what the hell are they trying to prove, it’s like watching an episode of The Keystone Cops show, and that show never made me laugh that much either. This spectacle however is a lot more hilarious, but sadly it’s making cry and laugh at the same time, at least the Keystone Cops didn’t make me cry when I watched an episode of their mad insanity.
