Turkish UAV Targeted Small Military Medical Convoy (Photos)

On April 2nd, a Turkish unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) carried out an airstrike on a small military medical supply convoy returning after dropping its payload south of Bani Walid in Libya.

One Libyan National Army (LNA) soldier was killed, 2 drivers were injured, as well as 1 civilian.

Bani Walid is located 180 kilometers southeast from  Tripoli. It is also located 130 kilometers southwest from Misrata, which is a Government of National Accord stronghold.

Turkish UAV activity appears to be increasing in Libya, as on March 30th, a Bayraktar TB2 was downed near Tripoli.

The Turkish forces must have left it too late to attack and got them on the return journey.

All those medical supplies got through. They must be gutted.
