More than 82 thousand people have been granted amnesty, including 22 thousand of protesters who were convicted or were awaiting sentencing, claimed the Chief of Justice of Iran Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje’i. The amnesty is timed to the 44th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Iran’s Supreme leader Ali Khamenei agreed to pardon tens of thousands of convicted and under investigation, including protesters, in February. It was also extended to those who shouted slogans against Khamenei or expressed themselves in a similar way on social networks.

Excluded are those convicted of violent crimes, spying, armed action, committing murder or causing injury, membership in certain groups.

Mass protests in Iran began in September after the death of a 22-year-old student of Kurdish origin. The protests continued throughout the autumn and affected major cities in Iran. The United States and Israel, as well as Saudi Arabia, were blamed for instigation of the riots which led to hostilities and deaths.

The protesters in Iran were supported by the Western officials, including in Europe, who are always declaring their commitment to defence of human rights all around the world, despite their own countries.

On March 12, representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanaani commented on the ongoing riots in France, which were traditionally dispersed by the police. Tens of thousands of people took to the streets on Saturday in Paris to protest against the Senate’s approval of raising the retirement age.

The lessons of the so-called human rights defenders are intended exclusively for others, and they do not practice what they preach.

Criticizing the French police for non-observance of human rights and the rights of protesters in the country, Kanaani stressed that this is a typical example of how human rights are respected in the “European Garden!”

Indeed, there are many examples of violent clashes between the protesters and police officers in the United States and Europe. However, according to the best Western double standards, only the countries out of the “flourishing garden” should be blamed for opposing the largely orchestrated riots.

And this is the question for the Assad regime right now? Would they support their ideological counterparts like PKK and MEK or would they support the Axis of Gog Magog? I believe they are taking the middle path.

You make no sense as usual.

Accipiter Nisus

Those who murder demonstrators, like the Iranian Corona regime, are just as much butchers as the West.
However, the number of murdered protesters in Iran because of the “headscarf of freedom” is much higher than those who were killed altogether the yellow vests protests in France or the anticorona protests in Germany.

Moreover, in the West, protesters were never declared criminals. They are treated as criminals, but still, in the West it is not necessary to pardon 82,000 people. So much for the turban wearers and headscarf wearers in Asia.
