3 Russian Soldiers Wounded & 14 Syrian Officials Killed during 'Humanitarian Pause' in Aleppo City

US-backed oppositioneers shelled humanitarian corridors opened in eastern Aleppo for civilians that want to leave the city. In total, militants killed 14 local officials and wounded three Russian officers on the first day of the pause. There is no confirmed information about the casualties among locals.

Menawhile, Russia has decided to extend the humanitarian pause (started on October 20) at Aleppo for another 24 hours, the Russian Defense Minstry announced. The move was supported by the Syrian government.

Despite Russian and Syrian humanitarian efforts,  there are doubts that Jabhat al-Nusra and Jaish al-Fatah will allow significant numbers of civilians flee the city. The terrorist groups are interested to use the local population as a human shield.
