UPDATE: According to the recent reports, at least 50 people were killed and 200 injured in the incident.
Over 20 people were killed and at least 100 people were injured during a mass shooting at a cooncert in Las Vegas city on Sunday night, security officials reported on Monday.
The suspected gunman has been killed at the hotel from across the outdoor concert, Sheriff Joseph Lambardo told media.
Police are searching a female “companion” of the suspect, who remains unidentified.
According to Sheriff Lambardo, the gunman opened fire on over 10,000 concert-goers at an outdoor venue from across the Mandalay Bay hotel at around 22:08 local time.
Media reports say that the attacked fired about 600 rounds in six or seven bursts with an automatic weapon for nearly four-and-a-half minutes.
Officials don’t describe the incident as a terrorist attack.
