The Russian Ministry of Defense summed up the results of the military operations in Ukraine over the past week. From December 16 to December 22, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost a total of about 1,925 more servicemen, four warplanes, three helicopters and 259 drones. In their turn, Russian forces launched 39 successful high-precision strikes on Ukrainian military facilities, UAV training centers, command posts and mercenary deployment points throughout the country.
The Russian Armed Forces destroyed two Leopard tanks in the Kupyansk direction in a week. Russian aviation and artillery hit the manpower and equipment of five Ukrainian brigades. The Ukrainian army lost over 355 servicemen in the region.
13 more Ukrainian attacks were repelled in the area of Krasny Liman, where the AFU lost lost up to 1,155 servicemen.
The heaviest losses the Ukrainian military suffered in the Donetsk direction, where Russian forces repelled 43 their attacks, killing and wounding 1,610 Ukrainian servicemen. Moreover, the Russian military acknowledged advance in various areas in this direction.
Ten more Ukrainian attacks were repelled in the South Donetsk direction, where more than 670 servicemen were destroyed.
Frontlines in the Zaporozhie region remained relatively calm. Six Ukrainian attacks were repelled there. As a result of hostilities, the AFU loast about 390 servicemen in the region.
Ukrainian attempts to save control of the bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region costed the Ukrainian army 510 servicemen more. Over the past week, 24 boats and 20 artillery systems were destroyed in the region.

interesting really, but to count the casualties on average – 4000 a week = ca. 400.000 in 2 years would be plausible. maybe some less or some more. rather more. you must also distinguish: dead or “lost” for the front fighting? soldiers which died , were wounded (severe or light , can they fight again? , how many die after they were severe wounded?). how many are captured by the enemy , surrendered, deserted , were abandoned by their ukrainian camerades on the battlefield?
