It is reported by a western news agency citing Iraqi officials that a suicide bomber killed at least 14 people at a famous restaurant in Iraq, located on the main highway that links Baghdad with the southern provinces.

According to a police officer, the attacker blew himself up Monday inside a restaurant in Dhi Qar province that is frequently visited by the Shiite paramilitary militia fighters.

He also said that at least 27 others were wounded in that attack. Nobody has claimed the responsibility for the attack yet.

In a separate incident, Iraqi police told the reporters that six troops were killed when a suicide bomber pushed his explosives-laden car into a security checkpoint in Baghdad’s northeastern suburb of Sadr al-Qanat.

However, the 66-member coalition has been failing to control ISIS terrorism, when a concerted push by Iraqi forces are dealing terrorists and forcing it out of the central city of Ramadi, the capital of the western Anbar Province.
