Crimea Blackout: Provokation

Crimea Blackout: Provokation

As result of a terrorism act in the Ukraine’s Kherson region (near border with Russia), the four main transmission lines between Ukraine to Crimea were blown up. About 2 million people in Crimea have been cut from the power supplies.

The energy system of the peninsula is able to make up for no more than 35% of its daily power consumption autonomously.

Some experts believe that the terrorism act was conducted by Turksih intelligence services in concurrence with the US. The goal is to prevent a growth of the Russian influence after the Paris attacks on November 13.

De facto, the terrorism act was made by Crimea Tatar extremists and the “Right Sector” terrorist group.

German officials have said that the power cut in Crimea is a crime, and should be investigated in Ukraine.

Russia is preparing to impose counter measures to cut the Ukraine’s energy supplies. Nonetheless, Moscow is understand that the Ukrainian citizens are hostages of the puppet regime governed by the Washington.
