أعلنت مديرية الخدمة الفيدرالية الأمنية (FSB) في جمهورية دونيتسك الشعبية (DPR) في 31 أغسطس أن شبكة «قبة Donbass» أسقطت 664 طائرة بدون طيار أوكرانية خلال الأسبوع الماضي.
The network, which is made up of air defense systems and electronic warfare means, is meant to guard the entire territories of the DPR from aerial threats, mainly drones.

«The electronic warfare system ‘Dome of Donbass’ prevented 664 terrorist attacks from the enemy during the week. 412 drones were eliminated over Donetsk and Makeyevka, and 252 over Gorlovka,» the FSB said in a report.

The report notes an increase in the use of FP-1 fixed-wing, long-range suicide drone by Kiev forces in recent attacks on the DPR.

The FP-1, developed by Fire Point, is one of the largest suicide drones in Ukraine’s arsenal. The drone, which is guided via GPS-aided inertial navigation system, has a range of up to 1,600 kilometers and carries a warhead weighing around 120 kilograms.

The FSB noted that Kiev forces carried out “combined strikes,” launching “false drones,” or decoys, to distract the air defense systems and electronic warfare means operating as a part of the Donbass Dome network, then attacking with FP-1 drones.
أشارت الـFSB إلى أن قوات كييف نفّذت «ضربات مُشتركة»، وأطلقت «طعوماً من الطائرات بدون طيار» أو خداعاً لتشتيت أنظمة الدفاع الجوي ووسائل الحرب الإلكترونية التي تعمل كجزء من شبكة Donbass Dome، ثم هاجمت بطائرات FP-1.
A video published by Izvestia TV showed the aftermath of some of the recent attack, including work to remove the debris of intercepted drones and to dismantle others which crashed after being jammed.

And on August 27, several other drones attacked peaceful neighborhoods and energy infrastructure facilities in Makeyevka and the settlement of Dokuchaevsk.
